Net Worth Calculator ("the app") is a personal finance tracker for Android. Your privacy is the whole point of how it's built: there is no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your data.

What data the app handles

• Financial information you enter — names, values, categories, owners, notes, and reference links for your assets and liabilities, your household members, and your monthly net-worth history.

This information is created by you and used only to show you your net worth inside the app.

Where your data is stored

1. On your device. By default all data stays in the app's private storage on your phone. It never leaves the device.
2. In your own Google Drive (optional). If you choose to sign in with Google, the app creates a single spreadsheet named "Net worth data" in your Google Drive and keeps it in sync, so you can use the same data on other devices and the companion web app.

Google account access

• Sign-in is optional. The app is fully functional without it.
• The app requests the drive.file scope only. Under this scope the app can only access the single spreadsheet it created — it cannot see, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
• The app reads your basic profile (name and email) solely to show which account is connected. This is not stored or transmitted anywhere except to display it to you.
• You can disconnect at any time via "Sign out", and delete the spreadsheet from your Google Drive whenever you like.

Data sharing

Your data is never sold, shared, or sent to the developer or any third party. The only network communication the app makes is directly between your device and Google's Drive/Sheets APIs, using your own account, to sync the spreadsheet you own.

Data deletion

• On-device data: clear it in-app ("Start fresh" / "Clear all"), or uninstall the app.
• Cloud data: delete the "Net worth data" spreadsheet from your Google Drive.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
